"It was a great experience.

You get to fully experience the culture by living with a family and improve your language of study by talking with your host family. Also, by the end of the program you've made great friends from many different countries. Activities & trips to the vineyards, movies, walking tours, international food night, and a wine tasting course."

"My accommodation was very comfortable.

The distance to school was walkable, and there was easy access to city buses. Because I was gone most of the day, I did not interact extensively with my host family. They were friendly and interested in conversing, and otherwise let the students be.

The staff at the school in Bordeaux is friendly, helpful, and encouraging to all students. There is a good balance between time for study and time for cultural experiences. The workshop for teachers provided an excellent opportunity to network. The school location is convenient to the center of town - plenty of places near to have a great lunch.

The classrooms we used were very comfortable, and our instructor was extremely knowledgeable. She also had a talent for making sure that everyone was participating actively in the class discussions. The rest of the staff was kind and supportive.

My class of teachers had a great ambiance, but we did not mix very much with the other classes, probably because of the difference in linguistic ability."
Sarah C. (age 27)
