Enjoy a Spanish language course in Argentina at our language school in the city of Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires, is a complex, energetic and seductive port city, which has been the gateway to Argentina for centuries. This magical city called the Paris of the Americas, offers wonderful nightlife including cafes, bars and countless tango clubs that are open until sunrise. Imagine walking home in the early morning through the Plaza de Mayo, where the citizens of this great city gathered together to hear speeches by Juan and Evita Peron.

A vibrant European heritage is obvious in a city whose inhabitants' names are markedly Italian and German.Their lifestyle and architecture are noticeably more European than any other city in South America. The city's physical structure is a mosaic as varied and diverse as its culture. The city has no dominating district, the city's neighborhoods are small and highly individualized, each with its own characteristic colors and forms.

Host Family: (private room) 2 meals daily.

Living with a host family is probably the best and most effective way to become fully immersed into the language and culture of your chosen country.

All families are chosen after a careful selection procedure and are visited regularly by the school to ensure that high living standards are maintained. As many of our host families live in the surrounding neighborhoods, the trip to school, is usually not more than 30 minutes away.

Staying in a family is a truly wonderful experience and many students make lifetime friends with their host family. However, you should also have realistic expectations and recognize that an element of flexibility is required to adjust to the local customs and way of life. Your host family may not have the same comforts as your own home but you will always be treated as a guest and free to come and go as you wish.

STUDENT FEEDBACK

"The course organised by Languages Abroad was the perfect way to improve my language skills and get to know the culture of a new place.

I made some new friends from all over the world and enjoyed the whole experience. The accommodation was better than expected although the information I was given wasn't up to date (e.g. who lives in the household).

From the day I began booking my trip to the day I left Buenos Aires, Languages Abroad were always willing to answer any questions and resolve any problems I had. When I wanted to upgrade my programme after my first week in Argentina, they organised the change really well together with the language school and everything went smoothly.

I couldn't have asked for a more organised and helpful company to deal with. The pre-departure information was the perfect way to prepare me for a trip like this to somewhere I had never visited before and it meant I was well prepared when I arrived and got the most out of my three weeks there.

"I had a great time in Buenos Aires and learned a lot of Spanish in just 3 weeks. Your staff, particluarly Michele Delroy, has been very helpful. The website was helpful as well.

The staff was awesome. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Classes were pretty good, but a bit too by the book. Would have liked more real-life situations to be included. Atmosphere was nice--a very clean (aside from 1 bathroom for all students) and professional atmosphere, and other students were cool.
