Beijing: The capital of the People's Republic of China (with a population of 12 million) and an ancient capital of six dynasties, it is one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in the world. Beijing is the centre of China's tourism and one of the world's most fascinating cities. Beijing has countless things to see and do such as temples, parks, museums, palaces and the Great Wall of China is only 75 km away.

Shanghai: Shanghai is probably the most evocative city for an outsider in the whole of China. Beijing may be more purely, mysteriously Chinese but only Shanghai offers such a heady brew of half-digested images and preconceptions. Literally ‘On the Sea’, Shanghai is a port city on the Huangpu River, where the Yangzi River empties into the East China Sea.

Hong Kong: Hong Kong, dominated by a jungle of spectacular skyscrapers and busy port, is a world capital of business and trade. The busy streets are filled with people and one of the best-known neighborhoods is actually floating on water. Aberdeen is home to thousands of junks and sampans (boats) used for both businesses and homes.
