German language immersion![]() inHamburg, Germany
Enjoy a German language course in Germany at our language school in the city of Hamburg.
For centuries it has been a major port and trading center in Europe. The city has a network of canals that rival those of Venice (it is said to have more bridges than Venice). Hamburg's center is built around Lake Alster and boasts classic facades, elegant shopping streets, cafés, restaurants and grand hotels from the 19th century interspersed with medieval churches.
Known as Germany's 'green city', Hamburg sports 1,400 parks and gardens. Modern buildings sit cheek by jowl with historic Baroque and Renaissance architecture, and by night the neon lights dazzle all-night revelers, particularly in the city's notorious red light district, the Reeperbahn.
Founded in 1952, our school is housed in a beautiful old building and has 80 bright classrooms.
Other facilities include a specialist bookstore where students can purchase materials for their language study.
Our school is officially recognized as a further education provider by Weiterbildung Hamburg e.V., which guarantees high teaching standards.
Teachers are native speakers and many are University-educated with years of teaching experience. They will help enhance your speaking, listening, grammar and general comprehension skills. Current political, social and cultural materials are integrated to add interest and increase knowledge of the host country and culture.
Living with a local host family is the most effective way to become fully immersed in the language and culture. All families are carefully selected and visited regularly to ensure quality standards. We choose only quality families who have a genuine interest in international exchange. Many families live near the school and the commute is usually no more than 20-30 minutes.
