German language immersion

in

Hamburg, Germany

WHAT WE LIKE about this program
- Germany's second largest city & major port
- Famous for its canals, man made lakes, parks & gardens
- Large, modern school campus

Enjoy a German language course in Germany at our language school in the city of Hamburg.

Hamburg is Germany's second largest city and lies on the Elbe River.

For centuries it has been a major port and trading center in Europe. The city has a network of canals that rival those of Venice (it is said to have more bridges than Venice). Hamburg's center is built around Lake Alster and boasts classic facades, elegant shopping streets, cafés, restaurants and grand hotels from the 19th century interspersed with medieval churches.

Known as Germany's 'green city', Hamburg sports 1,400 parks and gardens. Modern buildings sit cheek by jowl with historic Baroque and Renaissance architecture, and by night the neon lights dazzle all-night revelers, particularly in the city's notorious red light district, the Reeperbahn.
