Spanish language immersion

in

Malaga, Spain

WHAT WE LIKE about this program!
- South Coast on the Mediterranean, stunning beach location
- Our most popular location to learn Spanish
- Great climate - 326 days of sun each year!

Enjoy a Spanish language course in Spain at our language school in the city of Malaga.

This sun-splashed Mediterranean City was the birthplace of Picasso. Located on the Mediterranean coast, Malaga enjoys more than 320 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature of 22ºC, due to its location near the mountains.

This region called "Andalucia" is a land of sensual pleasures. Listen to the sounds of flamenco echoing through the warm summer nights or satisfy your hunger at the Andalucian table, overflowing with the country's finest olives, famous Sherries, and the legendary mountain hams of Trevélez and Jabugo. The coastline offers many stunning beaches, sandy coves and small fishing villages with authentic fish restaurants.

We offer a "SPLIT CITY" option with MADRID or BARCELONA. Students can combine locations!

SCHOOL FACILITIES
- Over 15 classrooms (most have AC)
- Rooftop terrace, cafeteria, social rooms, gardens and patios
- 20 modern PCs with Internet access
- TV/ Video room

At first glance, you'll know why the Malaga school is our most popular!

Situated in a district of Málaga called "Pedregalejo", it offers a relaxing residential atmosphere, yet the heart of the city is only ten minutes away and the beach is less than 200 meters. Both the beach and promenade (with its bars, cafes and authentic fish restaurants) are enjoyed by locals and students alike.

Our school is housed in 4 charming and beautiful "white washed" Andalusian villas, which offer bright and spacious classrooms and a Mediterranean atmosphere. The school's rooftop terrace provides a terrific view of both the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Host Family: (private or shared room, 2 meals daily)
Living with a local host family is the most effective way to become fully immersed in the language and culture. All families are carefully selected and visited regularly to ensure quality standards. We choose only quality families who have a genuine interest in international exchange. Many families live near the school and the commute is usually no more than 10 - 15 minutes.

Self Catering Apartments: (private or shared room)
Apartments are also located about 10-15 minutes away from the school and are shared with other international students. Apartments are co-ed, however, bedrooms are same-gender. The apartments always include a well-equipped kitchen (including cooking utensils), shared bathroom and living areas. The apartments vary in location, size and number of bedrooms, but expect to share with 2 - 4 other students.

STUDENT FEEDBACK
"The instructors are fantastic. They are patient, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to help you understand snd learn. The school is in a quaint neighborhood near the beach, tapas bars, shopping and accomodations. You will also make new, lifelong friends from all around the globe. Can't wait to go back.

Go with an open mind, a willingness to learn and be ready to have fun and make new friends. A little Spanish will help. Arrange for arrival transportation at your destination. This will make getting to the school much easier."
Sean (age 35)

"Malaga is a wonderful city to vacation and learn Spanish in. It is the perfect size to explore on foot for days and days. The very beautiful school is located just a block from an inviting beach on the Mediterranean Sea.

The nights are filled with fresh fish grilling over open fires and Salsa dancing in nightclubs in the City Centre. Hardly anyone speaks English so you must go out and use your new Spanish speaking skills. I met students who were returning for their second or third year.

I certainly hope to do the same! The program and living arrangements were next to perfect!"
Nancie S. (age 25)

"I had an amazing time in Malaga. I refreshed my knowledge of Spanish and also learned a lot about myself and several invaluable life lessons. I really enjoyed my host family. They were nice people and made a great effort to make sure that I was having a good time.

I thought that the school was in a good location and the classes were good as the instructors were interesting and the students all wanted to learn. I would strongly encourage them to take the language course as I found it to be an amazing experience."
Keira H. (age 18)
