WHAT WE LIKE - Key features of this program
South Coast on the Mediterranean- year after year, Malaga proves to be our most popular location to learn Spanish, it offers everything an international student is looking for, culture, great climate (326 days of sun each year), city nightlife, the opportunity to meet with the locals / other international students and the beach is just a few minutes away!

Enjoy a Spanish language course in Spain at our language school in the city of Malaga.

This sun splashed Mediterranean City was the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and Malaga shares the combination of forthrightness and grace that characterized Picasso's art.

Located on the Mediterranean coast, Malaga enjoys more than 320 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature of 22ºC, due to its location in the weather shadow of beautiful and rugged mountains.

This region called "Andalucia", is a land of sensual pleasures. Listen to the sounds of flamenco echoing through its warm summer nights or satisfy your hunger at the Andalucian table, overflowing with the country's finest olives, famous Sherries, and the legendary mountain hams of Trevélez and Jabugo.

The coastline offers many nice beaches, a popular place with students after class is over, sandy coves and is dotted with small fishing villages with authentic fish restaurants.

We also offer a "SPLIT CITY" option with our MADRID, MALLORCA or BARCELONA Spanish language programs, which offers the student the opportunity to visit and study in other cities. This is extremely flexible and allows the opportunity to sample other sites, and accents, you can choose where and for how long.

SCHOOL FACILITIES
Over 15 classrooms (air conditioning is available in most of the classes), rooftop terrace, internet access (air conditioned) with 20 modern windows PCs, school cafeteria, social rooms, geardens and patios, reception travel desk, TV and video room.

At first glance upon arriving, you can understand why the Malaga school is our most popular!

Situated in a district of Málaga, which is called "Pedregalejo" it offers a relaxing residential atmosphere, yet the heart of the city is only ten minutes away and the beach is less than 200 meters.

Both the beach and promenade, with its local bars, cafes and authentic fish restaurants, are enjoyed by both the locals and international students.

Our school is housed in four charming and beautiful "white washed" Andalusian villas, which offer bright and spacious classrooms with a Mediterranean atmosphere. The school's roof-top terrace provides a terrific view of both the mountains of Málaga and the Mediterranean Sea.

Host Family: (private or shared room) 2 meals daily
Living with a host family is probably the best and most effective way to become fully immersed into the language and culture of your chosen country.

All families are chosen after a careful selection procedure and are visited regularly by the school to ensure that high living standards are maintained. As many of our host families live in the surrounding neighborhoods, the trip to school is usually not more than 10 to 15 minutes away by bus and many are within walking distance to our Malaga school.

Self Catering Apartments: (private or shared room)
This is also a very popular option especially for those students looking for further independence. Our apartments are normally located within the same distance as the host families (many are closer) and are shared (with other international students studying at the school). Our apartments are co-ed, however rooms are shared with the same gender.

All apartments provide a well equipped kitchen (including cooking utensils), shared bathroom facilities and living areas. The apartments vary in size and number of bedrooms, depending on the location in the city but expect to share with 2 - 4 other students.

STUDENT FEEDBACK

"The instructors are fantastic. They are patient, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to help you understand snd learn. The school is in a quaint neighborhood near the beach, tapas bars, shopping and accomodations. You will also make new, lifelong friends from all around the globe. Can't wait to go back.

Go with an open mind, a willingness to learn and be ready to have fun and make new friends. A little Spanish will help. Arrange for arrival transportation at your destination. This will make getting to the school much easier."
Sean (age 35)

"Malaga is a wonderful city to vacation and learn Spanish in.

It is the perfect size to explore on foot for days and days. The very beautiful school is located just a block from an inviting beach on the Mediterranean Sea.

The nights are filled with fresh fish grilling over open fires and Salsa dancing in nightclubs in the City Centre. Hardly anyone speaks English so you must go out and use your new Spanish speaking skills. I met students who were returning for their second or third year.

I certainly hope to do the same! The program and living arrangements were next to perfect!"
Nancie S. (age 25)

"I had an amazing time in Malaga.

I refreshed my knowledge of Spanish and also learned a lot about myself and several invaluable life lessons. I really enjoyed my host family. They were nice people and made a great effort to make sure that I was having a good time.

I thought that the school was in a good location, although a littel difficult to find the first day, the classes were good as the instrutors were interesting and the students all wanted to learn.

I would strongly encourage them to take the language course as I found it to be an amazing experience."
Keira H. (age 18)
