Enjoy a Spanish language course in the Spanish Balearic islands at our language school on the island of Mallorca in the city of Palma de Mallorca.
The island of Mallorca is the most popular tourist destination in Europe! It is also arguably the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean, largely because of the stunning variety of its scenery, the warm hospitality of the islanders and the richness of its food and drink. Visitors today can benefit from the same inspiring beauty and tranquility that so impressed the composer Chopin, the poet Robert Graves and others before and after them. Our school is located in the center of Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Spanish Balearic islands.

Our small school is housed in an elegant Moorish building, which is only a few minutes walk to the beach. Just 10 minutes from the airport and the city center (Palma), our school is located on the large bay of Playa de Palma.
This bay is known for its 5.5 kilometers of beach, which has been awarded the European Union Blue Flag for its fine sand and clear water. Along the beach promenade you can shop, grab a coffee, rollerblade, cycle, or simply relax and enjoy the sun and crystal waters. The island's major nightclubs are only 5 minutes away by bus or 20 minutes walking.

PROGRAM BASICS

Teachers are native speakers and many are University educated with years of teaching experience. Classes cover reading, writing, listening, grammar and general comprehension skill but all using communicative methods. They will also use interactive techniques such as role-play, games and perhaps videos to support lesson content. The school uses a very comprehensive series of books, materials, audio-visual and teaching aids.
After classes are over for the day our program allows you plenty of time to discover your new country, culture, traditions, customs and everyday life.
Examples of typical cultural opportunities: visit the Old Quarter and Cathedral, The island offers many great beaches, enjoy the best nightlife of the Mediterranean, water sports, sailing and cruising, excursion through the 'Call' or 'Jewish district' of Palma, great golf and other outdoor sports and great shopping!

Self Catering Apartments: (private or double room)
Choose between Basic (Apt 1) and Comfort (Apt 2).
Our apartments are normally located 10-20 minutes from school and are shared with local residents or other students. Our apartments are co-ed, however rooms are same-gender. All apartments provide a well-equipped kitchen (including cooking utensils), shared bathroom facilities and living areas. The apartments vary in size and number of bedrooms, depending on the location in the city.
NOTE: The comfort upgrade apartment (apt 2) normally offer greater comfort: a larger apartment, better furnished, perhaps with a balcony, better location, TV, etc.
