French language immersion

in

Nice, France

WHAT WE LIKE about this program!
- Safe, upscale, Mediterranean coastal town with great nightlife.
- Our most popular location in France and possibly all of Europe!
- Ideal for young people and the young at heart

Enjoy a French language course in France at our language school in the city of Nice.

Sun kissed Nice, with its sparkling seas and Provençal pleasures is more than simply the capital of the Cote D'Azur. It's the fifth largest city in France boasting fine architecture and culture - the perfect place to learn French!

Located on the Mediterranean coast, at the western end of the Riviera, Nice lies between the Alps and Italy's Gulf of Genoa. The Greeks from Marseilles first established Nice around 300BC. Nice boasts a plethora of ruins, museums, boutiques, and a sexy cafe culture. Cafes occupy weathered 17th and 18th century buildings and outdoor markets crowd the old town's streets and Venetian-style squares.

Nice is one of the best places to start a Côte d'Azur adventure.

We also offer a "SPLIT CITY" option. Combine with PARIS, BORDEUAX or TOURS!

SCHOOL FACILITIES
- Excellent central school location
- 7 bright classrooms, with modern furniture
- Large social room with pool table, vending machines
- Beautiful garden which students can use

Our school is located in a beautiful building, on a side street just off the Belle Epoque, just minutes walk from the finest street in town, the Rue Medicine.

Situated in the heart of Nice, the train station is only 5 minutes walk away and a few minutes further the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. Only ten minutes walk from the Old Town, Promenade and the beach.

Close to both the train and bus stations, the school neighborhood offers a nice atmosphere with boutique shops, cafes and bars, ideal for lunch breaks or hanging out in after class.

Host Family: (private or shared room) 2 meals daily

Living with a local host family is the most effective way to become fully immersed in the language and culture. All families are carefully selected and visited regularly to ensure quality standards. We choose only quality families who have a genuine interest in international exchange. Many families live near the school and the commute is usually no more than 15-20 minutes.

Self Catering Apartments: (private or shared room) no meals. Choice of Basic (Apt 1) or Comfort (Apt 2).

Apartments are located about 15-20 minutes from the school and are shared with other students. Apartments are co-ed, however, bedrooms are same-gender. The apartments include a well-equipped kitchen, shared bathroom and living areas. They vary in location, size and number of bedrooms, but expect to share with 2 - 4 other students. Apartments do not have AC but do have fans and will be cleaned once a week. Laundry is not available in the apartments, but there is a Laundromat nearby.

NOTE: Comfort apartments (Apt 2) normally offer a larger space, better furnishings and / or amenities, superior location and may included TV/ balcony etc.

"STUDENT FEEDBACK"

"My time in Nice was definitely the experience of a lifetime.

The friendships I have made and the things I have experienced are priceless. The classes were enjoyable the activities the school set up were always so much fun. My roommate came the same day, we created a special bond and he has become one of my closest friends and almost like a brother to me.

I made so many friends there in Nice, and I am already missing all of them as they have all become such a big part of my life in France. I should hope anyone else out there considering a program like this to do it as soon as possible. Again, a priceless experience that I'll never forget. One of the best memories I'll ever have in my life. The website was very user friendly and provided a lot of information, which was extremely helpful in choosing a program. I couldn't think of any way to improve the website, a score of 10 out of 10!

Location was awesome. The family was great and I learned a lot by living with them. I am very glad I chose to do this program, for it has made a life long impression on me that I'll keep with me till my dying day."
