Enjoy an Arabic language course in Morocco at our language school in the city of Rabat.
From its towering city walls to its breath-taking Atlantic coastline, the Moroccan capital of Rabat will enchant and inspire you.
Its history dates back to pre-Roman times, when the settlement of Chellah was established at the mouth of the Bou regreg river in the third century BCE. The fortress there and its sister fortress the Kasbah of the Oudayas are fantastic reminders of Rabat's grand past.
Throughout the city, our students will come across architectural marvels centuries old. They'll be able to explore marketplaces established in medieval times and visit Museums, Palaces and Mosques. They have a unique opportunity to glimpse the reality and gain insight into one of the most misunderstood cultures in the world.
Rabat became Morocco's capital in 1912 and since then it has continued to prosper into the modern, dynamic city it is today. Rabat is a 21st century city, with all the conveniences and entertainment you can expect. And our school is very much an oasis in the city. Our tranquil villa, with its fruit trees and song birds is the ideal environment for our students to relax and learn.
Due to Rabat's central location, it is perfectly located to allow you to explore other great Moroccan cities at the weekends.
Casablanca and the Imperial Moroccan capitals of Meknes, Marrakech, and Fes are within easy reach by bus or train:
> Casablanca: 50 Minutes (train)
> Fes: 4 hrs (train) 2 hrs (car)
> Meknes: 2 hrs (car)
> Kenitra: 1 hr (train)
> Marrakech: 4 hrs (train)
> Tangiers: 2.5 hrs (car) 4 hrs (train)
If you would like to enjoy a day or weekend at the beach, the costal village of Skhirate is only 20 minutes away by train. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the King of Morocco's Royal Summer Residence is located in Skhirate and is frequented by many important world-class leaders.
Like most Arab cultures, Moroccan people are famous for their hospitality. Moroccans love to meet international students and are excited to share their culture with guests. Our staff also very much enjoys participating in this exchange of ideas.

Our school is an oasis within the city of Rabat. Located in the up scale neighborhood of Souissi, it is a 10 minute ride by taxi to the center of the city and the Medina.
Housed in a spacious (4,000 sq ft) facility and enclosed within it's own tranquil garden, our school offers plenty of study space and offers the student a place for quiet study or reflection, away from the every day hustle and bustle of city life in Morocco.
The school building is an architects dream, combining new architectural style with old. Each room offers a different feeling with moroccan mosaics decorating the walls or ceilings, off setting the new hardwood floors and carpets. The school offers AC throughout.
The school garden is the perfect place to relax between or after classes and our students really enjoy this tranquil oasis. The concept of immersion is based on the idea that we acquire knowledge faster and better when we learn it naturally through comprehension. While "immersion" methodologies are widely considered modern teaching techniques, they are in fact nothing new. For as long as human beings have learned to speak we have acquired language by imitating and then comprehending the meanings behind the words we say. An immersion language curriculum merely imitates the natural processes we use to learn language as children from the environment around us.

After classes are over for the day, our program allows you plenty of time to discover your new country, culture and everyday life.
Our Arabic courses are supplemented with a wide variety of fascinating opportunities to learn about Arab and Moroccan culture. All our programs include 2 free afternoon activities per week within Rabat.
Students can also choose to participate in content-based training courses in the following areas: Arab women's history, Islamic history, Qur'anic studies, Moroccan cuisine, Arab Poetry, Moroccan Architecture & Calligraphy.
Arabic calligraphy is the most prevalent art form in the Arab world. It is an extraordinary form of expression through image and words. In Arabic, calligraphy is the "geometry of the spirit."
The school organizes various activities that could include: Lectures Moroccan or Arab culture, video showings of Arabic films and tours around Rabat, including the Medina and the Kasbah of the Oudaya. These activities are conducted in both Arabic and English.
At the weekend take a train trip to Casablanca (approx $6 return) or visit one of the Imperial Moroccan capitals which are all within easy reach by bus or train from central Rabat. If you prefer to relax, enjoy a day or the weekend at the beach in Skhirate, only 20 minutes away by train (approx $3.00 return).
