Enjoy a Spanish language course in Puerto Rico at our language school in the city of San Juan.

Come and study in the oldest city in the U.S.!

The capital San Juan, (population about one million) is carefully preserved and has restored examples of 16th and 17th century Spanish colonial architecture. Colonial buildings and churches grace virtually every corner of the old walled city.

Discover Puerto Rico’s culture and history in the many splendid museums or visit San Juan’s cathedral, final resting place of Juan Ponce de León’s remains. Beautifully adorned plazas, fortifications and historical sites, add to the beauty of the city.

The average year-round temperature fluctuates between 75º and 90º. It can get cool in the mountains and during the evenings, but in the city the temperature is usually constant. Being a tropical island, Puerto Rico has sunny days and breezy nights, a wonderful combination.

September, October and November tend to be more rainy than other times of the year, but Caribbean weather can be unpredictable.

STUDENT FEEDBACK

"I had an amazing experience in Puerto Rico, a place where I never thought I would have had a chance of traveling to.

The instructors were super nice, getting around was easy and people in general were always willing to help, as English is a second language there. The services provided were excellent including: e-mailed pre-departure information package to necessary contact information while I was abroad. Last but not least, the staff were there to answer any questions that I may have had.

My experience staying with a hast family for the first time was okay as it allowed me to see how a residential neighborhood in Puerto Rico looks like including being part of family customs/tradition's. However, I was disappointed that the family did not eat at the same time in order to have time for casual conversation.

The school was in a great location, which, was minutes away from the subway. Overall, the staff at the school were helpful and occasionally instructors took students on excursions.

Future Advice: Do your research, think about where you always wanted to travel and most of all have fun". Cyan L. (age 25)
