Chinese language immersion

in

Shanghai, China

WHAT WE LIKE about this program!
- Busy, evocative, historic city!
- Central Location (Old French Concession District)
- Be prepared: Shanghai experiences climatic extremes!

Enjoy a Mandarin Chinese language course in China at our language school in the city of Shanghai.

Shanghai is probably the most evocative city for an outsider in the whole of China. Shanghai has a population of over 20 million and a land area of 5,800 square kilometers. The Paris of the east, as it is well known, is a dynamic urban metropolis that is fast becoming the dominant destination in Asia for business and leisure. For the second city of the world's oldest surviving ancient civilization, Shanghai is surprisingly new. Literally 'On the Sea', Shanghai is a port city on the Huangpu River, where the Yangzi River empties into the East China Sea.

SCHOOL FACILITIES
- Excellent downtown location
- Modern facilities with 22 nice classrooms

Our school is located in the Former French Concession District (between Huaihai Lu and the Jinjiang Hotel). This is a charming neighborhood characterized by leafy, tree-lined streets, beautiful, old European architecture, and the chic shopping street Huai Hai Middle Road. STUDENT FEEDBACK

"I was impressed with the organization and communication between the school and my consultant from LA. The school was exactly as I had hoped it would be and the prior descriptions were very accurate. Thank you for all the help.

This has been an experience that will certainly help me in life as I pursue my profession and as I relate with other foreigners."
Nathanael P. (21)

"My accommodation was comfortable. The distance to school was walkable, and there was easy access to city buses.

The classrooms we used were very comfortable, and our instructor was extremely knowledgeable. She also had a talent for making sure that everyone was participating actively in the class discussions. The rest of the staff was kind and supportive. My class of teachers had a great ambiance."
Sarah C. (age 27)
