IMPORTANT: It is important that you provide us with your travel plans and arrival details at least two weeks prior to your program start date. Please scroll down this page in order to send us your arrival information. NOTE: If you change these plans for any reason, you must notify us in writing immediately so we can inform the school of the change! If you do not inform us of your details or any changes in your travel plans, we cannot be held responsible for missed transfers or meetings upon arrival at your location.

If you are studying with one of our adult LANGUAGES ABROAD programs (for students over 18 years of age), it may be possible to be picked up at the airport or train station upon arrival for an extra fee. If you are interested in this option, you can request this additional service well in advance of your departure date. For further information, please see the Prices and Start Dates page of your program location on LanguagesAbroad.com and scroll down to the OPTIONS (at an additional cost) section, located beneath the program dates and prices on that page, to see if this service is available where you are studying.

Whether you are a teenager waiting for your transfer or an adult who has scheduled a pick up upon arrival at the airport or train station as advised by you, please look around carefully for your driver and please allow for possible delays. If you experience any flight delays or missed flights en route, please contact the school at the number that you will receive from our office prior to departure.

If you have chosen to live with a Host Family, please contact them by phone as soon as you have their contact information (approx. 2 weeks before the program begins). This is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and go over your arrival details. This is a courteous gesture on your part and you can inform your host family of any allergies and/or dietary requirements you may have, as well as get a sense of general expectations you may have of each other. Often, our Host Families do not speak much or any English, so be prepared!
