We offer this unique way to learn a language, studying and living in the home of your own personal teacher. We offer a choice of 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours of personal teaching per week plus 3 meals daily. Programs are suitable for any age of student and all levels of language skills.


France is the largest country in Western Europe and has had a major impact in European history over the past 500 years. Renowned for its literature, culture, food and art, France is the most visited country in the world offering its incredible history and beautiful architecture and countryside and innumerable cultural treasures. France is also an innovative and wealthy modern state with many major cities and a great deal of influence in today’s Europe. Our live and learn programs are available in a diverse and exciting selection of regions throughout the country.


Acquitaine Region is located along the south-west coast of France along the Atlantic Ocean and borders Spain along the Pyrenees Mountains. Home to Basque Country, famed for its cusine, and Landes with its vast beaches and forests, Acquitaine is the perfect place to visit historic sites like Roquetaillade Castle and enjoy local truffles and fois gras.


Brittany region is located in the north-west of France and was settled by the Breton people who fled from Britain. The region has a strong sense of independence and Breton culture. Here incredible coastal cities are found alongside verdant countryside among which can be found the megaliths of ancient Breton burials and worship.


Cote D’Azur coast and inland or the French Riviera, as it is known in English, is the most visited region in France after Paris with famed destinations like St. Tropez, Nice and Cannes. A region known for glamorous cities, incredible Mediterranean coasts and inspiring artists, the Cote D’Azur is also home to picturesque villages and countryside.


Haute-Savoie region is the small region of France bordering Switzerland to the north and Italy to the east. Here you can find some of the most beautiful landscapes in France with villages nestled in the Alps, incredible ski resorts, the beautiful Lac Leman and a mix of growing cities and quiet rural towns.


Loire Valley region which is known as both the “Garden of France” and the “Cradle of the French Language”, features rolling countryside and rivers throughout which are many famous chateaux and wineries. A beautiful and historical region of France, Loire Valley also holds the city of Tours whose inhabitants speak the purest French and provide an excellent example for any student.


Normandy region is situated along the English Channel in Northern France. Settled by the Normans, this region is best known for the major beach assaults during WWII but is largely an agricultural region with many dairy farms. Well known for their oysters and calvados, a distilled apple cider, this beautiful rural area is filled with historical sites and incredible coastlines.


Paris region also known as the Île de France, the major attraction in Paris and its outlying suburbs but it also includes a number of nearby towns and countryside. Paris is frequently considered the most beautiful as well as the most romantic city in the world. Filled with incredible history and iconic buildings like the Eiffel Tower it is no wonder it is the most popular tourist destination worldwide.


Provence region extends from the French Riveria over to the Alps in south-east France. It is one of the most popular destinations for holidays in France with its incredible countryside, which has been the inspiration for innumerable painters, that is easily traverses by car or bicycle from village to village. Here one may find Roman ruins and bring a picnic of incredible local food and wine.
