Italia! Few other countries manage to evoke such a feast of emotions and images as this one. Situated in the south of Central Europe, the Italian Republic shares borders with Austria, France, Switzerland and Slovenia. In addition to the boot-shaped peninsula, the country also consists of several Mediterranean islands, including Sardinia and Sicily. For a significant part of Italy’s rich history, its current capital city was the center of politics within the West and the Roman Empire’s own capital. Later, following the decline of the Empire, Italy was attacked frequently by foreign countries.


The country’s contribution to the world’s culture heritage, particularly in the areas of architecture, art, music and literature, is immeasurable. Who doesn’t recognize the Leaning Tower of Pisa and that much-photographed scene of Florence, with its domes and bridges? And where would we be without Leonardo da Vinci? Many of the world’s most influential fashion designers are also based in Italy. Of course, there’s also the food and drink, which seem to be favored around the world; from the finest Chianti wine and the most flavorsome espresso to a deliciously seasoned tomato sauce on a Neapolitan pizza – Italy is a culinary paradise.

The location is famous for its medieval center, countless festivals, endless artifacts, cultural presentations and superb nightlife. The winters are mild and the summers are hot.


Rome: (Located in central Italy)
Learn Italian in Rome – vast, culturally rich city, home to renaissance palaces, baroque basilicas, the Vatican and a plethora of artifacts left behind by the Roman Empire. Rome is well-known as a city of noise where you can not escape the hectic vibrancy of its chaotic traffic, socially active piazzas, breath-taking fountains, and fabulous restaurants. The climate in is very mild.


Taormina: (Located on island of Sicily on the coast)

We offer this unique way to learn a language, studying and living in the home of your own personal teacher. We offer a choice of 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours of personal teaching per week plus 3 meals daily. Programs are suitable for any age of student and all levels of language skills.


ITALIAN LANGUAGE PROGRAMS FOR TEENS
We offer a choice of Italian language and activity programs in residential language summer camps or private language school with other international students for ages 13 – 17.
