WHATS INCLUDED IN PROGRAM PRICE

SUMMER language program: 6 group lessons daily (30 lessons per week) set course length of 4 weeks. This course is open to beginners only. June 29 - July 24 or SEMESTER language program: 3.5 group lessons daily (17.5 lessons per week) set course length of 18 weeks. February 10 - June 26, September 14 - January 22, 2009 All courses include use of instructional materials. We do require that students be able to read, write and pronounce the Arabic script before they arrive. Cultural and social activities Language proficiency certificate at end of program available upon request. LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: Gulf Arabic is taught in the summer and semester programs. For students taking the private lessons there is a choice of Gulf Arabic or Modern Standard Arabic. WHATS NOT INCLUDED IN PROGRAM PRICE Airfare, passports, visas or permits, travel and medical insurance, accommodation, spending money, some optional activities and excursions. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: Classes are held Sunday to Thursday as the weekend in the UAE falls on Friday and Saturday. We recommend students arrive at least one day before classes start and plan to depart one day after classes end. It is possible to book additional accommodation days, please let us know your desired arrival and departure days. OPTIONS (AT AN ADDITIONAL COST) Travel insurance (per week): $30.00 Accommodation in Al Ain: It is possible for Languages Abroad to book accommodation for you in Al Ain via our Accommodation Locator service. Estimated prices are as follows: Apartment in Buraimi, Oman: $500 - $600 per month 4 star hotel in Buraimi, Oman: $300 - $400 per week 5 start hotel in Al Ain: $400 - $500 per week Prices are variable depending on exchange rate fluctuations, availability and season. Airport pickup is not available at this location. MINIMUM AGE TO ATTEND PROGRAM: Minimum age is 18 years old.
