The services provided could not have been better. My host family spoiled me to the extent that I did not want to leave. The only negative, I gained a bit of weight!! The food was that good as was the conversation and "Gemuetlichkeit". Everything about the experience was top drawer!! The school staff was excellent and I can't say enough good things about them. The curriculum met my needs in every way and the teaching methodology was perfect in that everybody had to speak in German all the time.
My advice to anyone considering this program is "Go for it!!" It was an absolutely perfect way to learn another language and experience another culture."
Many students are just taking a learning holiday and looking to improve their language skills whilst enjoying the company of other international students, of the same age.
Others come for educational reasons and are looking to achieve course credits, prepare for language examinations or even study to become a language teacher. Whatever the reason, our students enjoy a truly international community.
We have sent thousands of students overseas to study abroad and many of them return each year to take another program with us, perhaps in the same school or a new country.
To ensure the quality of our programs we contact each of our students individually after they return from their study abroad experience and ask them to evaluate our program(each individual location page lists many references).
Below is a selection of past "TESTIMONIALS" from students who have studied with Language Abroad in the following Countries / Continents (student ages in brackets):
"I contacted Languages Abroad inquiring about several of your programs and I just wanted to share with you the excellent
customer service that has been provided to me by Njoroge Mungai in your Spanish language programs. He has been very patient
and informative in his assistance to me and has always taken time to explain the program and address any issues I have
brought to his attention.
If you could duplicate Njoroge's quality of service, it would help Languages Abroad bring in more customers and
publicity. I for one would be willing to inform others of what a good program Languages Abroad offers".
The schools were professional but yet friendly. I enjoyed all of the schools, but the school in Sucre was my favorite. The professors there were very personable and the environment was more close nit feeling. The students at the schools always ended up being some of my best friends on my journeys. The classes were also a huge help for me. I feel that I learned a lot in the three months that I was down there.
I was really happy with all of my host families. They were really friendly people and would recommend all of them for future students. My roommates were all good too. I have no complaints at all. The locations of the houses were appropriate as well".
