"The experience exceeded all expectations. The Arabic courses were challenging and very well done. Morocco is a fascinating country and a great time, I recommend it to everyone."
Elizabeth Henlein, American student who studied in Fez, MOROCCO

"The trip was one long adventure. The school is perhaps one of the top institutes I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I learned a tremendous amount of Arabic and as a matter of fact I know my grammer in Arabic better than English. The King Hotel was ok and my room was made everyday and I never had to worry about clean towels.

Cairo sucked the living energy out of me. I was overwhelmed by the air pollution but the experience was priceless. I learned a great deal and came back with a new appreciation for the mundane things. Thank you for setting this up for me."
Amer, American student who studied in Cairo, EGYPT

"Thanks to the Director General and staff for affording me the chance to improve my Hebrew - despite my disability (vision). You were the only ones who agreed to accept me." David Lepofsky - Canadian student who studied in Netanya, ISRAEL

"I had a wonderful trip and I can't wait till I can return".
Donavon Lerman, American student who studied in Cairo, EGYPT

"Merrit enjoyed the opportunity to live in Fez and thought the teachers were excellent. The school residence was clean, pleasant, and very close to the school, which was a plus. Also, it provided the opportunity to meet the other students. She would recommend the Moroccan Arabic program to anyone who enjoys living overseas and learning a new language. Merrit Chesley (20) The mother of an American student who studied in Fez, MOROCCO

"Fez is one of the best things I have ever done in my life. As all of us students parted all the emails I now receive are titled, Is there life after Fez? We all fell in love with Fez and the wonderful memories that will last us lifetimes. In the meantime, I learned more conversational Arabic in one month then I have in the past year in class here in the West.

I am anxiously hoping to return soon. I absolutely walked away with a wonderful life altering experience. The student villa was in a very convenient location on the corner to the school. The villa and villa staff were great. The kitchen is functional, but remember it's not home. I would return to the villa next summer if I had the chance.
Joella Hopkins (24) American student who studied in Fez, MOROCCO

"The overall atmosphere encouraged learning and interaction. I'm grateful for the experience and excellent instructors." Rebecca Christie, American student who studied in Netanya, ISRAEL

"Morocco is wonderful; the people are fantastic. There is no problem if you want to walk the streets at night. The Medina (old town) in Fez is the greatest market in the world, 9000 lanes and you had better have a guide or you won't find your way out."
Richard (25) American student who studied in Fez, MOROCCO

"Learning Hebrew as a family on the same campus, at the same time but through different programs was a very unique and rewarding experience. Our children loved to learn Hebrew while having fun; in the end they did not want to leave! Not only did our Hebrew improve, we all had a great time and made new friends. Most of all it was an authentic Jewish experience." Raphael Cohen, student who studied in Netanya, ISRAEL

"I did not learn only Hebrew but also on the State of Israel and its culture. It was important to know that there are many people endeavoring to overcome the political problems in the Middle East and come closer to peace. Thank you!" Nozomi Nishibishi, student who studied in Netanya, ISRAEL

" The staff and school location were great, walking distance to al-Ga Square. This is truelly a uniquepart of the world and very different to other parts of the Middle East. I felt safe and the people were very friendly. Languages Abroiad helped me in everyway, especially Andy who had already been to Yemen, his advise was invaluable. Great experience!
Suzanne Lewis, student who studied in Sana'a, Yemen

"I began learning about the culture as soon as I stepped off of the airplane. The people there are very hospitable and there was always something to do and a place to hang out. The host family was great and completely hospitable the entire time. The Languages Abroad staff were really helpful and they seemed to be well informed." Silver Glover (age 22)student who studied in Fez, MOROCCO

"Attending a school through the assistance of Languages Abroad saved an immeasurable amount of time in red tape: while other students dealt with it up to the final days, I was free from day one.

Staying with a host family was the most rewarding experience of this study abroad: when a Moroccan invites you into their home they invite you into their household as well. When you study abroad do yourself a favor and limit any tendency to form a little expatriate community and faithfully respect local dress and culinary mores.

In my observation these persons were the ones most inhibited in their studies and least satisfied with the overall experience."
Danny Carter (age 25)student who studied in Fez, MOROCCO
