"Everything was incredible! Languages abroad is affiliated with great schools who in turn are also affiliated with great families! I had such an excellent time that I am going on another study this summer! Thanks for everything!"
Jessica Larson (Age: 23) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"My host mother went out of her way to prepare vegetarian meals for me. The is perhaps on the greatest host that anyone could meet."
Shannon Crawford (21) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"It really is amazing how vast a language can be, and how much of it your brain can absorb in two weeks. I left Quebec wishing I could have stayed longer though. What a great place to study French. The host family was super. They were very welcoming and even with the language barrier, communication with them was not a problem. I felt like a relative. There was also another student staying with them which made it less stressful for me. That was nice and the food was excellent!" Andre Beaulieu (28) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"Everything was done, by both the school and the woman in whose home I stayed, to create a true immersion experience in French. In addition, I learned a great deal about Quebec, the old city, and the people who live there. In all, it was a very rewarding experience. I was made to feel at home. Most importantly, all communication was in French. Future Advice: If possible, take at least three weeks." Sheldon Kantrowitz (57) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"I felt the language program combined with the host stay experience was extremely helpful in improving my speaking and comprehension skills. The staff and instructors were excellent. As an older student, I was a little wary about staying with a host family, but I felt extremely comfortable with the host family."
Inga Heemink (29) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"The city and school provided true language immersion I was looking for and the host family provide me with an insight of how the native Quebec lives."
Steven Lee, American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"Excellent accommodations and teaching staff. Size of classes is small allowing good concentration for each student. My hostess was very involved with my language skills. I appreciated her strict adherence to "French only". She was willing to help me in any way."
Betsy Ritzel (55) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"I loved Quebec city! Everyone there was so nice, the city is so beautiful and everyone is very helpful. I definitely recommend this to any student to improve their French! Be prepared to have lots of fun! The first few days are always rough, but after that everything falls into place and you'll love it."
Stephanie Roberts, (18) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"Accommodation: Good, Excellent teaching method, Services Provided: Excellent, General Impression: Excellent, Future Advice: Enjoy every moment"
Maram Alsadik, Program: MONTREAL

"Your thorough web-site and level of personal correspondence made for a smooth departure and enjoyable study-abroad experience. Thank you.

The best thing about my host family was that she communicated with me only in French. It forced me to use the language and not slip back into English. I also appreciated that she ate dinner with me and the other visiting student each night and she facilitated some good dinner conversation.

She was generous in opening up her whole home to me and even had a bike and helmet for students to use. The other student was Colombian. It's nice to live with a person from a different culture so you're not tempted to speak in your native language all the time."
Elizabeth Morris (27) American student who studied in Quebec City, CANADA

"Montreal is a good learning environment. The teachers are warm and friendly and classes give you the opportunity to associate and learn with your classmates. The “French only” push in the school and class is a little overwhelming to begin with but then becomes very helpful and accompanies your learning." Philip Lawson, student who studied in Montreal, CANADA

"My studies with Languages Abroad provided an unforgettable experience and the opportunity to meet many interesting people from around the world, all while learning a new language.

I was very impressed with my classes and teachers. Again, I enjoyed meeting the students in class, and also the opportunity to learn not only about the culture of the place of study, but also learn more about other cultures when interacting with students in class.

Future Advice: Go with an open mind and take advantage of every single day to make the most of it. There is tons to learn!" Lorena Martinez (age 34)student who studied in Montreal, CANADA

"This where learing a language come as by product of enjoying your vacation. Host family was excelllent, Languages Abroad services, Fanatastic.

Future Advice: Live the moment and be your self."
Hashem Al-Alawi (age: 32) student who studied in Montreal, CANADA
