Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival to Mexico City
Welcome to radiant Mexico! We can have a car waiting to pick you up at the airport or you can arrange your own transportation to the stylish Hotel Best Western Majestic. Spend your evening relaxing or exploring this exciting city.
Day 2 – Mexico City – Free Time
Spend the entire day discovering Mexico City for yourself. There are lots of amazing historic sites to explore. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this colorful city. Tonight you will stay at the Hotel Best Western Majestic.

Day 3 – Mexico City – Tlatelolco Silver Factory – Basilica de Guadalupe – Teotihuacan
Today we will leave Mexico City and visit a silver factory where you can meet Rafael, one of the best silver designers in the world. We will then visit an important religious site, the Basilica de Guadalupe. The last stop for the day will be the fascinating Mayan ruins of Teotihuacan where you will see the Moon Pyramid and the Sun Pyramid. Enjoy another restful night at the Hotel Best Western Majestic.

Day 4 – Mexico City – Puebla – Oaxaca
This morning we will leave Mexico City and head for the lovely city of Oaxaca where you can try some of the most delicious and diverse cuisine in all of Central America. On our way there, we will stop and visit the Spanish city of Puebla de los Angeles! You will spend the night at the charming Hotel Oaxaca.

Day 5 – Oaxaca – Mitla Archaeological Site – Hierve el Agua Stone Waterfall
After breakfast we will visit the ancient Zapotec settlement of Mitla. Afterwards we will go for a relaxing dip in the natural, clifftop hot-springs of Hievre el Agua. Before you arrive at the pools you will see the amazing Cliffside rock formation created by them! Tonight you will once against stay at the pleasant Hotel Oaxaca.

Day 6 – Oaxaca Market and Mezcal Factory
Today we will explore the Oaxaca Market where you can try a variety of exotic and delicious foods. We will then visit a Mezcal Factory where you will see how this sweet spirit is made from the indigenous Agave plants. This will be your last night at the Hotel Oaxaca Real.

Day 7 – Oaxaca – San Cristóbal de las Casas
This morning we will leave beautiful Oaxaca and head to the fascinating Chiapas region. It’s a long drive so we will arrive at the stylish Hotel Casa Mexicana just in time for a delicious group dinner. Spend the rest of the night at your leisure.

Day 8 – San Juan Chamula and Zinacatan Villages
Today we will take you on an interesting 5-hour cultural tour of the Chiapas region. Look forward to visiting indigenous communities and learning about their traditions. Tonight we will once against stay at the Hotel Casa Mexicana.

Day 9 – Explore San Cristóbal de las Casas
There are plenty of great places to visit in San Cristobal de las Casas. The city is home to several interesting museums (mostly dedicated to local art) and natural wonders. Stand in the spray of the El Chorro Waterfall or go for a swim in the Laguna Montebello. This will be your final night at the elegant Hotel Casa Mexicana.

Day 10 – San Cristóbal – Agua Azul – Misol Ha – Palenque
Today you will leave the city and travel through the Palenque jungles! On the way there we will stop to admire two of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, the Agua Azul and the Misol Ha. You will have some time for a relaxing swim before we finish our journey for the day. Tonight we will have a group dinner at the Hotel Tulija Express and then you can spend the evening as you please.

Day 11 – Palenque Archaeological Site
After a leisurely breakfast we will take you to visit the magnificent Palenque Ruins. This ancient city is nestled in the heart of the jungle and is one of the most thoughtfully laid out cities from the Mayan world. Look forward to another lovely evening at the Hotel Tulija Express.

Day 12 – Palenque – Palizada – Campeche
The first stop of the day will be the city of Palenque where you can admire some of the Mayan culture’s finest surviving architecture and most detailed carvings. We will then stop and visit the Palizada River. After this amazing experience you will continue to your final destination for the day, the labyrinthine city of Campeche where you will spend the night at the bright Hotel Baluartes.

Day 13 – Campeche – Merida
Spend the morning exploring the winding city of Campeche. This is one of the most interesting cities to walk through because it has many winding roads, blind alleys, and several town squares. The city was designed this way to confuse raiding pirates. Afterwards, you will travel to Mérida, the cultural and economic capital of the Yucatán peninsula where you will stay at the brilliant Hotel Dolores Alba.

Day 14 – Explore Merida
You have the whole day to explore Merida. See the effect of colonial wealth and appreciate the energy of a true Mexican urban center. Tonight you will stay at the delightful Hotel Dolores Alba.

Day 15 – Mérida – Izamal – Chichén Itzá
After breakfast we will leave Merida and visit Izamal, also known as ‘the yellow city’ because most buildings here are painted yellow. There will be a guided tour of the city before we go to the next exciting site, the ancient Mayan city of Chichén Itzá. Look forward to another wonderful night at Hotel Dolores Alba.

Day 16 – Chichén Itzá – Valladolid
Today you will visit the vibrant city of Valladolid. Look forward to a guided tour of Valladolid’s Tequila Museum in the afternoon and a marvelous evening at the Hotel Meson Del Marques.

Day 17 – Valladolid – Cenote Dzinup – Bacalar
Today you will go for a swim in the most famous cenote on the Yucatan peninsula, the X’Keken Cenote. After you have had some time to explore this gorgeous natural wonder you will journey to Bacalar where you will stay at the beautiful Hotel Laguna Bacalar.

Day 18 – Bacalar Lagoon
This morning you will get to experience the famous Lagoon of Seven Colours. This stunning, unspoiled natural paradise is the perfect place to relax and commune with nature. Spend the whole day at the beach or take an optional boat tour then spend your second night at the Hotel Laguna Bacalar.

Day 19 – Bacalar – Tulum – Playa del Carmen
After breakfast you will travel to Playa del Carmen. On the way, travelers will have the chance to visit Tulúm. This tremendous archaeological site stands on a bluff facing the Caribbean Sea. The Mayan people built this fortified, eastern facing, city and named it Zama, meaning City of Dawn. Tonight you will stay at the Hotel Playa del Carmen.

Day 20 – Playa del Carmen – Free Time
Playa del Carmen is a perfect blend of urban atmosphere and seaside paradise. There are no tours scheduled for today so you can take your time to relax on the beach, snorkel, scuba-dive, or explore the surrounding area. You have the entire day to do as you please. Tonight you will once again stay at the lively Playa del Carmen Hotel.

Day 21 – Departure
It’s time to say farewell to sunny Mexico. You will have a bit of time in the morning to do some last minute souvenir shopping or take a last dip in the sea before you are transported back to the airport. If you would prefer to arrange your own transportation then you may do so. Our friendly staff will also gladly help you extend your stay.
