Testimonials - French in Tours

The school in Tours is really good. The directors of the school could not have been nicer. The school location was great - right in the historic center of Tours. I thought the school had a great atmosphere because I was able to interact with students from other parts of the world. The school is set up for long-term in depth study of the French language. If you want to make your French perfect, this is a good school for you. The Languages Abroad staff was also very helpful and always answered my emails promptly.

My host family was very nice. They were 15 minutes from the school. I was very happy that I did not have to rely on public transportation to get to the school. They family was also great about accommodating my vegetarian lifestyle. The room they gave me was so nice, big, and clean. I could not have asked for nicer accommodation.”

It was a welcoming and excellent experience. Staying with a host family allowed me to get to know the city. The teachers were engaged and engaging. The diverse mix of students forced me to use my new language skills. The school building itself was beautiful and well-equipped. The very nice, old stone school building definitely made the learning environment enjoyable. The school was also well-equipped with books, magazines, internet, and plenty of information for visiting the area.”

"I just finished my two week course at Tours. I would highly recommend the school and the location to all adults. The location is very good and being in the old city was a two minute walk from the square where everyone meets. I would add Tours to your list of good locations for adults on your Web site since there is so much to see around Tours and it s pretty easy to get around. The family was also very nice."
