"The school was terrific. Good location, well staffed, good teachers and administrators, good computer access, nice library, large class rooms, and a very attractive site and building. I checked other schools during my visit and none were as nice...there were others, however, that were disasters.

Languages Abroad provided excellent service prior to leaving for Paris. Excellent promotional material and I have the impression that LA is very well organized and professional. I would recommend Languages Abroad!"

"Host Family, I don t think I could have had a better host. Danielle was fun and helped us learn french. My room was comfortable and the location was perfect for seeing the city, being near the water and certainly for walking to school and taking the train, which we did a lot of even on our own. The Languages Abroad staff was friendly and helpful. The web site very thorough.

Excellent brochure and information accurate and easy to follow. The staff I always talked to on the phone was extremely helpful and certainly patient. I have nothing but great things to say about the school and staff. It was great being able to have use of the e-mail to stay in touch with my family back in the states. The after school activities were the best!.

Future Advice: You should have done this a long time ago. Well, that's speaking for how long it took me to start studying abroad. DO IT NOW, I can't wait to be able to retire and do it for six months at a time."

"I loved the program. The teachers were very dedicated and responsive and I raised my level of Spanish from low intermediate to high intermediate. The group there was predominately Germans with other Europeans, a couple of Asians and Americans. There were additional guided tours of great interest, excursions and exchanges with other students from other schools".

"Languages Abroad provided me with enough information with which to begin my course of study without a lot of concern about the details of making arrangements, payments, etc. Questions were answered when necessary, and the pre-departure information was very helpful. The directors and teachers at the school take there jobs very seriously. I felt I was able to improve my aural comprehension, which was my greatest concern.

The family was especially nice and my room was immaculate. My laundry was done without my even asking. I especially enjoyed sitting down with the family each night both to dine and to discuss the news of the day, in French! The most important think is to relax, and enjoy the experience. The schools, families, and Languages Abroad have enough experience to handle any difficulties."

"The class was just what I needed. While it was difficult at first as everything was in Italian, the instructors were sensitive to each student and made the effort to get everyone to understand. Tip: Come to class prepared with dictionary. Plan to get together with your fellow students after class."

"The school is an excellent school. The curriculum is outstanding, as well as the professors. I also had the opportunity to participate in an "Adventure Tour". The trip was incredibly fun, with white water rafting, horseback riding, sip lining, hiking and lazily sipping drinks in the hot springs of Arenal Volcano. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and my Spanish is much better! I used Languages Abroad 4 years ago for an immersion program in Mexico and was impressed with the organization."
