Our school in Munich is located in the lively district of Schwabing-West, within walking distance to the centre and the English Garden. Students will get to experience full cultural immersion by living in carefully selected homestays where everything will be done to make them feel comfortable. Language Course
The Teenagers Abroad German summer program offers high school students the following course options for German Courses in Munich:
Standard German Courses
Standard German classes provide learners with a solid foundation in the language, focusing on essential skills like reading, writing, speaking, and listening. These classes cover key grammar rules, vocabulary building, and pronunciation, enabling students to communicate effectively in everyday situations
4 group lessons per day (15 hours per week)
The Teenagers Abroad German Camp
Class size: max. 12 students
Standard German courses held 3:30-7:00pm on Mondays
Standard German courses held 4:00-7:15pm, Tuesday - Friday
German courses for all language levels
Teachers are qualified professionals & native German speakers
Students will receive a Language Certificate at the end of the program
International Student Body
We expect that 90% of students attending our courses in Munich will be non-native English speakers from Europe, Asia & Latin America. The remaining 10% will be English native speakers from North America and/or the UK.
Number of Students attending the Course
Based on 2017 attendance records, we expect to have 60-80 students in July and 50-70 students in August.
Typical Day at Munich German School
Breakfast: 9:00 - 10:00am
Organised activities: 10:00 - 2:00pm
Lunch: 2:00 - 3:30pm
German Courses: 3:30 - 7:00pm
Evening meal/ evening activities: 7:00 - 12:00am
Accommodations & Meals
Students participating in the German program will have the choice between three accommodation options:
Reisdence Accommodation
Residence accommodations are designed to create a comfortable and convenient living environment, fostering a sense of community and support among residents. They often include services like maintenance, security, and housekeeping to enhance the overall living experience.

- Housing located 20 to 40 minutes from the school

Activities & Excursions
There is a Welcome Party to get to know your classmates, barbecue, movie night, kayaking, picnic, sight seeing, shopping tours and gams.
Sports: Footbal, tennis, fitness, volleyball, etc.
There are many more activities available at a small surcharge.
Crew & Supervision
Level of supervision: MODERATE
Curfew is at 11:00 pm every day.
Students must return to their accommodation by or before the curfew time, unless they are participating in a tour or activity organized by the school, regardless of their age or circumstance. No exceptions will be made!
Travel & Arrival Information
Transfers
Please arrange arrival on Sunday at Munich Franz Joseph Strauss Airport (MUC) from 10:00 - 19:00 and departure on Saturday from 08:00 - 17:00. Transfer from Munich main station is possible at any time.
Unaccompanied minor service offered only if required by airline: (one way) +150 EUR
