Learn Spanish in San Jose

Learn Spanish in the Capital of Pura Vida!

Imagine strolling through the vibrant streets of San Jose, where every corner buzzes with the rhythm of salsa and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Now, picture yourself not just visiting, but truly experiencing this vibrant city by learning Spanish right where it's spoken every day.
In San Jose, the language isn't just words-it's a way of life. From the bustling Mercado Central to the tranquil parks that dot the city, every interaction becomes an opportunity to practice and immerse yourself. You'll find yourself chatting with friendly locals, ordering gallo pinto with ease, and navigating the city like a true Tico.
You'll dive into Spanish lessons that are anything but boring. With our dynamic instructors, you'll pick up the language through games, group activities, and even city scavenger hunts. By the time you're done, you'll be ordering your favorite Costa Rican snacks like a pro!
But this camp is about more than just learning-it's about experiencing. Explore the colorful markets, hang out in local cafes, and make friends from all over the world. Afternoons are filled with exciting excursions, from zip-lining in the rainforest to visiting volcanoes. And the best part? Every adventure helps you practice your Spanish in real-world situations.
At Teenager Camps, we're dedicated to empowering you to succeed, whether in your academics or your future career. Our teen camps are crafted to give you the skills you need to seamlessly step into your next big adventure.

Through our Spanish Summer Camp in Costa Rica's capital, San José, experience a creative meshing of traditional and modern Spanish architecture. The streets may be narrow but they are constantly buzzing with people, traffic, and festivals. Musicians, artists and street vendors entertain the crowds in the heart of San Jose, the Plaza de la Cultural.

San Jose also offers many interesting museums, excellent restaurants, colorful markets and a very favorable climate. The best bargain market in town is the "Mercado Central". There, you'll find a wide range of goods and services including an assortment of local artisan crafts and the most inexpensive -yet delicious- meals in the entire city.

Native Costa Ricans (referred to as "the ticos") are known for their good humor and generosity. Because of San José's active nightlife -with concerts of folk music and dance, it is the best place in Costa Rica to meet and mingle with local ticos.
