Testimonials - German in Berlin

"I had such a wonderful time in Berlin! It is amazing how much Berlin has bounced back after the wall came down in 89. The city is booming! I was there for two months and I didn t even get a chance to see everything there was to see! Whether you like museums, memorials, antique bookshops or clubbing and bar hopping or fine dining, small cafes or pubs - Berlin is the place to go! If you re going for more than just a couple weeks - I recommend going to a bigger city. Berlin was perfect for my two month stay because there was a TON to see and do."

I had a great time in Berlin! I particularly enjoyed staying with a host family as it gave me more of an opportunity to practise my German and it was very nice to have a proper home to go to at the end of the day. Also, the method of instruction at the school was very good. I liked that we were spoken to in German the entire time, and that I could still understand and learn the language. The cultural experience activities offered by the school were quite good. I went on a trip to Stralsund (a town near the Baltic Sea) and to the German History Museum. […] Overall it was a great experience and I am looking into taking a German or French language program for 1 or 2 weeks in May or June.”

Berlin is by far the most incredible city there is! Having visited many other cities during my time in Berlin, I can say that it is one of the most youthful and vibrant cities in Europe and perhaps in the world. The housing at the Berlin campus is top-end, and I felt comfortable with my single room the entire time! The opportunity to meet others from so many other countries is the best feature of this program. I ve made friends from all over the world that I can go and visit whenever I want! Nowhere else would I have gotten this sort of experience. If anyone were even slightly entertaining the idea of studying at the Berlin campus, I would tell them not to hesitate for a single moment and to stay as long as they can!

I lived in a single studio on campus. I loved my room and miss it every day! It was gorgeous and perfect, and I couldn t have asked for more. The school location could not have been more perfect. It was in the center of everything I needed and wanted, and it helped me learn very easily what the city was good for. My classes were a load of fun and I made friends instantly. Max and Bettina were the best, most fun youthful teachers ever and they made learning a blast.”
