Testimonials - German in Munich
"My program in Munich, Germany through Languages Abroad was a fantastic experience both from a personal as well as an academic point of view. From the start, the enrolment process and communication with the Languages Abroad staff was flawless. The pre-departure information was received in a timely fashion and when I arrived in Munich, I was all ready. It simply could not have been improved on. The school was located about 20 minutes from the host family s house with the S-Bahn (Subway).
All of my expectations were exceeded and then some. I would be pleased to recommend this program through Languages Abroad to anyone considering it. The services provided could not have been better. My host family spoiled me to the extent that I did not want to leave. The only negative, I gained a bit of weight!! The food was that good as was the conversation and "Gemuetlichkeit". Everything about the experience was top drawer!! The school staff was excellent and I can t say enough good things about them. The curriculum met my needs in every way and the teaching methodology was perfect in that everybody had to speak in German all the time.
My advice to anyone considering this program is "Go for it!!" It was an absolutely perfect way to learn another language and experience another culture."

"It was a great experience that really immersed me into the culture and language of Germany. I had a great time with the host family and would recommend that accommodation type to anyone. I really liked the school atmosphere and classes because there were so many international students and I made some great friends while I was there. It is a great experience that will broaden their horizons and it s one they will never forget."

“During my time in Germany, I was able to vastly increase my comfort with the German language, especially in the listening and speaking aspects. Being immersed in a culture and its language greatly facilitates learning a language. In addition, I was able to see and do many things unique to Munich. Going to the various museums, beer halls, the old town, and other sites helped make the trip something to remember. The school was very nice. It was challenging, and yet not strenuous. The overall program helped me learn, but at a pace I found comfortable.”
