“I had a fantastic time! I went to Kanazawa, Japan and it was one of the most beautiful places I have visited. The staff at the school were extremely helpful and I was able to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never forget. The pre-departure information was impeccable. I did not feel uneasy about the process of getting to my destination at all. The staff at Languages Abroad was very friendly and answered all my questions promptly. The website was very helpful and ultimately helped me make my final decision for this program.

The location of my family was great. I could ride my bike to school in half an hour, or I could take a train and walk the rest of the way. It was very comfortable to live there. I had a private room that was furnished in a more western style. My roommate was a source of entertainment and comfort to me. I would have been a lot more nervous than I was if I hadn t had a roommate. My family was very understanding of the language barrier and made some attempts to try to communicate with me, but my housemate spoke nearly fluent Japanese, which helped a lot.

The location of the school couldn t be beat. It was five minutes walking to the Station, and about 10 minutes by bus to major shopping districts. The school was in a great building that had free wireless internet and a convenience store on the first floor. It was always clean and welcoming. The classes were fantastic, I learned so much. The other students became some of the best friends I ve ever had. Overall, I can t think of anything I would want to change about the school.

This trip was the best trip I ve ever had the chance to take. The inclusion of studying a foreign language made it even more fun. The friends and memories I ve made will last a lifetime.”
